There is a conscious theme of abstraction within Prfd.DCY.11., with the artwork looking to provide beauty to clutter. All items used in the artwork were purposefully taken from rubbish left in the street by the unknowing provider. This technique is used in order to show there is an opportunity to provide tranquillity in everything and that beauty is simply a personal perception of an external environment. Unwanted objects were organised in a fashion that confronts the qualities of painting, with additional photography and oil paint. Colour is provided in both a subtle and brash manner, dependent on the requirements of the surface in question.
